Data for Figure SPM 3 panel (a) from the Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate (SROCC) - Summary for Policymakers. Contribution to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Sixth Assessment Report (AR6). Figure SPM 3 shows projected change, impacts and risks for ocean ecosystems as a result of climate change. The figure contains four panels (a-d), for each the metadata were archieved separately. ----------- Figure Caption ---------------- (a) Depth integrated net primary production (NPP from CMIP5). The left panel represents the simulated mean values of NPP for the recent past (1986–2005), the middle and right panels represent projected changes (%) by 2081–2100 relative to recent past under low (RCP2.6) and high (RCP8.5) greenhouse gas emissions scenario {Box SPM.1}, respectively. To indicate areas of model inconsistency, shaded areas represent regions where models disagree in the direction of change for more than 3 out of 10 model projections. ----------------------------- List of Data provided ----------------------------- This dataset contains global ocean data for: - Simulated net primary production, historical (1986–2005), and projected (RCP2.6 and RCP8.5, averaged for the period 2081–2100).
